Everything Bagel Dip
Perfect for dipping, spreading or schmearing, this 5-ingredient, everything bagel dip is so easy to make. Served with fresh veggies, this “big game” party dip will not disappoint.
If you’re looking for a simple appetizer to serve at your “big game” party this Sunday, I’ve got a good one. My everything bagel dip comes together in less than 10 minutes and contains just 5 ingredients; I told you it was simple.
Of course, the flavor for this dip comes from the popular everything bagel seasoning blend. Several years ago, Trader Joe’s seemed to be the only kid in town making this delicious concoction. But now, brands like McCormick, Private Selection (Kroger), and Great Value (Walmart) have joined the everything bagel seasoning party, making it easier to find at your grocery store. You could also make it yourself by combining poppy seeds, sesame seeds, dried minced garlic, dried onion flakes, and salt.
This dip is so easy to make; just blend together cream cheese, sour cream, Greek yogurt, and everything bagel seasoning with a hander mixer and stir in the sliced green onion. Don’t forget to reserve a little bit of the bagel seasoning (1/2 teaspoon) and some sliced green onion (1 teaspoon) to garnish the top of the dip just before serving. While you can serve it right away, this dip gets better with age. For maximum flavor, make it a day in advance. This dip pairs really well with a variety of fresh vegetables – carrots, bell peppers, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, celery, snap peas, or broccoli florets are just a few ideas. Whole grain crackers, pita bread wedges, or toasted baguette slices are great accompaniments as well.

EVERYTHING BAGEL DIP
Yield: 10 servings
Serving Size: about 3 tablespoons
Prep: 10 minutes
Ready: 1 hour 10 minutes
INGREDIENTS
6 tablespoons (3 ounces) reduced-fat cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup reduced-fat sour cream
3/4 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt (such as FAGE Total 2%)
2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning blend, divided
3 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion, divided
DIRECTIONS
With an electric hand mixer, blend together cream cheese, sour cream, yogurt, and all but a 1/2 teaspoon everything bagel seasoning (use 1/2 teaspoon seasoning to garnish top of dip before serving). Stir in green onion, reserving 1 teaspoon to be used as additional garnish.
Transfer dip to a container, cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour (or overnight for maximum flavor), allowing flavors to blend. When ready to serve, stir dip well, place it in a serving bowl, and garnish with reserved 1/2 teaspoon everything bagel seasoning and sliced green onion. This dip is great with fresh vegetables, whole-grain crackers, pita wedges, or pretzel crisps.
