Sheryl, great question about trying to reduce the carbs in this recipe. Most of the carbohydrates in this recipe come from the dough/crust. Per the serving size, 19 of the 24 grams of carbohydrates come from the dinner dough roll. One way to reduce the carbs would involve making a thinner mini crust. You could take each dough ball, after it's thawed, and cut it in half. Then, shape each dough ball half into a thinner crust. A mini pizza made with half of the dough ball as the crust would have 14.5 grams of carbohydrate.
Of course, a cauliflower pizza crust would have less carbs. I haven't experimented with grilling cauliflower pizza crust. I guess that's idea for another Recipes Made Healthy post!
is there a way to decrease the carbs in this recipe?
